Our laptop

Well, the backlight in our laptop went out so we have to send it in to be fixed! So, I wanted to let you know why I won't be posting anything for a week or so!!! Hope you all have a great week and I will have to post tons to make up for lost time when we get the laptop back.

Undies Anyone?

So I went to get panties for the twins for insentive to go potty on the toilet ALL the time and I came across the CUTEST boy panties....opps, I mean UNDERWARE! (so used to saying panties...going to have to add a new word into my vocabulary when Brady gets older ;) Anyways, aren't they cute? I was so excited, now if I can just find some boxers! I bought them even though they are size 4T. Am I CRAZY??? Maybe you shouldn't answer that!

Ok, I am not showing favorites...Lexi just doesn't want her picture taken this week!!! Here is the most recent one I have....everytime I try and take one she runs :) So I finally snapped one of her when she was tired and actually laying still. (and she didn't even know that I took one) I will try and take another one soon.

My furniture was on Extreme Home Makeover last night!!!

If it wasn't for Christina finding this couch, loveseat, bench and coffee table I wouldn't have it. But thanks to her she did find it and now I own it :) It was so fun to see it on Extreme Home Makeover last night!!! Usually I see things I either hate or I wish I had....but last night I got to say "I HAVE THAT!"

I thought this was sweet even though Brandon looks like he needs a haircut ;) (kinda hard to get on when you're workin' 7 days a week...

FINALLY after a year of researching he made a decision :)

So after about 4 years working on Roberts house. Doing everything from planning to building to electrical to even feeding them every weekend while they had no kitchen Brandon finally found his payment in a 61" Samsung DLP TV. He has researched and researched it to death and thank GOD he has FINALLY made a desision :) It only took 2 trips to Spokane to get it. But it's here and I guess I know what he will be doing tonight after dinner :)

(PS. Yes, it is sitting on a coffee table but I promise it will be sitting on something way more cuter soon :) that's my gift from Brandon for putting up with Robert...I better ask for something else too...putting up with Robert is hard work :)

Oh, how time flies...at the time Brady had to stay in the NICU seemed like time stood still but now he is almost 4 months old and I find myself wondering were has all the time gone? He is so much bigger now and smiles, laughs and pouts! He has always been fun but it is different now....responding to us and doing things like rolling over and "talking" (alright, more like making noises but I am sure he is telling me how much he loves me :) Someone is coming out tomorrow (by the time I actually post this it will be more like later today) to see how he is developing. I am not concerned at all but because he was premature and here 7 weeks before he should have the doctor just wants to make sure he is catching-up to where he should be and to see if he'll need physical therapy for whatever reason. I am sure the nurse and physical therapist will look at him and laugh while saying..."He was early?" My baby is such a big boy in his SIZE 3 diapers :) Anyways, take time today to enjoy the little things. My little things are just getting bigger like my 6 year old...well I'm not even gunna go there, I am already feeling old.

Deceptively Delicious :)

This cookbook by Jessica Seinfeild has got to be perfection:) I am going to order it and make everything in the book. What a better way to add all the things we should eat into something we all would eat...like chocolate brownies. Now, I am not a health freak but I do think in someways we are what we eat and I for one am ready to change who I am. I will keep you updated on my new outlook!

YAY...I FINALLY got my new CAMERA!!!!

After months and months and months of researching...Brandon FINALLY decided what camera to buy. We went with the NIKON SLR D40. We were going to get the D50 just like Auntie Christina but since it look him so long to decide they discontinued that model. I LOVE this new camera and it fits perfectly in my hand :) Watch out I might snap a picture of you!

Yes, our 6 year old made us dinner last night. She had some help from Grandpa but cut up the mushrooms and followed the recipe & added some onions since she knew Mommy loves them. It was delicious! I can't wait until she is a little older, maybe it will be her daily chore ;) Auntie Rachel would be totally impressed!

I guess painting isn't that much fun when you're only 3 months old. (it really isn't that much fun when you're 29 either, but the company was GREAT!) Brady decided to take a nap for Auntie Christina and Mommy since we we were awake more than we were sleeping this weekend :).

My FUN weekend!!!

BEFORE

This weekend was so much fun!!! Brandon was working and the girls went with Doug and Claudia to Idaho to visit Brandon's grandparents. So, Christina came over late on friday night to play. When she got here we talked for a bit and then headed to bed so we could have a fun full day. On Saturday we woke up and got ready, played with Brady and we had fun shopping at stores I can't take 5 kids into without buying the whole store since we'd probably break everything, going to the Farmers Market, eating and figuring out what color paint would be best for my house. There is NO WAY I could have come up with the colors without Christina. So after 2 trips to Home Depot we had it under control. Unfortunately, I had picked out the exact color Christina was going to use in her house but couldn't because of the tint of grey in her white paint on the ceiling. She was teasing me a bit but was very generous in letting me use the color :) We started painting at about 4:30pm Saturday and ended at 3:00am on Sunday! Since we weren't finished when we went to bed because apparently we were having WAY TOO MUCH FUN painting (we sorta woke Brandon up :) we had some more painting to do Sunday morning. After all was done we rewarded ourselves with a bowl of double strawberry ice cream at 10:00am in the morning. We chatted for a bit and then Christina left and I was sad :( Brady and I re-heated some pizza from the night before and watched "Knocked-Up" Brady wasn't impressed because he slept throught the whole movie (like father, like son :) Then we headed to the store to pick up a few things including some new frames to go on my pretty new walls.
