Christmas is here

Some pictures of our Christmas tree and our 7 stockings :)

I told Brandon a long time ago that I wanted to get nice stockings with names on them once our family was complete! Well, after searching and searching for just the right ones I finally found our stockings!!! I ordered them in October last year all matching and with names and they were perfect. I also ordered the matching tree skirt to have it all matching! Well, since our little "surprise" bundle of joy came I was worried that Pottery Barn wouldn't have the stockings back again this year. So in September when their christmas catalog came out I saw they had the same one back. I went online right then an ordered Brady one. It came and matched PERFECT with the rest of them. I am so happy! Now we have 7 matching stocking and our family is completely complete :)

Few more pictures from the past couple weeks!!!

I will have to post some later...having trouble attaching the photos!

What we've been up to the past couple weeks....

Well, I am still figuring out this blogging thing. I haven't gotten the picture and text thing down yet but I am working on it!

* First Physical Therapy appiontment for Brady's neck (sporting his adorable shoes from Auntie Rachel) and then out to eat with the In-laws.
* Thanksgiving with Brandon's parents
* A full day of shopping in Spokane (Brandon had too much fun in Micheals getting a second Christmas tree...I call him Mr. Christmas because he LOVES this time of year and decorating for it...it really is funny but so cute too! All I have to say is "Oh, that would look nice" and he's all for it. Ah...I love this time of year :)
* Took Brady to ER for some labored breathing and a horrible cough. Doctor did a breathing treatment and x-rays and decided he had the croup!
* A relaxing saturday
* Brandon's parents leave on sunday and take the twins with them since I was heading over on the other side of the mountains that tuesday.
* Took the older girls to ballet. Came home and Brady and I took a nap while the older girls watched a movie (started to get a cold)
* Left for Maple Valley to spend time with my family and Christina.
* Seeing all the family and of Christina and Ben. (We are going to Vegas with Ben and Christina in January and we are going to have so much fun! I can't wait!!!)

My 1st Thanksgiving making dinner!

So, techically this will be our second Thanksgiving away from my family since we moved last year. We ate out last year and this year we are having dinner in our new house. The In-laws are coming (actually, they should be here within the hour) and I have probably talked to my mom atleast 10 times already asking questions on all the food she makes and if I am doing it right. I have never done this before and my mom does it all the time so it's been a little hard knowing we are missing out on another Thanksgiving with my wonderful family and eating the most delicious perfect food. The only thing making it better besides the wonderful pumpkin pies I've just made is that I get to be with them on Christmas. Anyways, enough pouting...here is our menu for Thanksgiving.

Appitizers:
Bean dip
stuffed pitas
Hickory Farms goodies
cheese puffs

Dinner:
20lb turkey
10lb smoked turkey
5lb ham
green bean casserole
yams (YUCK)
cranberry orange jello salad
layered salad
deviled eggs
stuffing

PIES:
2 pumpkin
1 double layer pumpkin
1 key lime
1 chocolate peanut butter
1 dutch apple
1 banana chocolate cream

(I know, a little overboard on the pies but I need everything to be perfect)

Brady's Hospital Bills (and mine)

Well, after weeks of being pestered by my husband I FINALLY added up the GRAND TOTAL of the cost of our miracle baby! (I was afraid to see how much he was) So from the point when I started seeing the High-risk doctor which was about the 24 week mark this was what we have been billed.

Evergreen Hospital $83,851.38
(Keep in mind this was for my hospital room, the OR for my c-section and Brady's room for his stay of 19 days along with our nurses as well as labs)

Obstetrix/Pediatrix $52,495.25
(This bill was for my doctor appointments before Brady was here, the c-section, my care from my doctor afterwards and of course the 19 days of doctor visits for Brady)

GRAND TOTAL: $136,346.63

My son healthy...PRICELESS :)

THANK GOD FOR REALLY GOOD MEDICAL INSURANCE!!!!!
