Our Little Valentine's Day Party

Since we homeschool the girls, sometimes it hard for me to know that they are missing out hanging out with friends and doing these fun hoilday parties in a classroom setting. So when my friend Stacy said she was coming over we thought it would be fun to have a little Valentine's Day Party for our kids. Stacy, Hannah, Seth and Andrew helped us celebrate and then spent the night with us too. Stacy and I stayed up late watching a movie and then in the morning we had sticky buns for breakfast and then had to say goodbye :( They are visiting family for the weekend on the westside and I am so happy they got to stop in and party because it's been way too long since our last visit!!

Look Mom....I have style!

See what happens when I let them pick clothes out?! That's why I still dress them ;) She walked downstairs and said, "Mom, I dressed myself and I have style!" (I was glad we planned on staying home this day because she was so proud of herself! She wore it all day too!)

My Computer Guy

"Mom, what seems to be the problem?"

"Hmmmm...let me think."

"Ah, yes...here's the problem"

"Man, this is going to take a few minutes"
"I just need to chew on it a bit" (FYI: We wiped it off before going to the next step!)

"It should fit in right here"

"Computer is my middle name"

"Oh, so carefully"

"Yep, that was it....you are good to go now mom. That will be two cookies please!"

My old/new find :)

So, normally I don't post many things about stuff in my home but I had to share this one. Some of you know that my kitchen is decorated (or I guess it's always in work in progress) like a General Store, I have a lot of neat old items from my Grandma and Mom. For Christmas and my birthday my grandparents and aunt gave me gift certificates to my favorite store, Folkart Gathering in Sumner, WA. So I used part of it on this cute black shelf. Well, while my friend Christina and I were getting some much needed girl time I found these cute grocery store price tags. They go perfect in here with all my old goodies! When we were on the west side a week ago I snuck back down to my favorite store and also went back for a couple more tags :) So here they are, look close! Christina, we need to go back next time I'm over...I need some girl time and a Sumner fix! Miss you!

Wii Night

We have had a few of the Wii Nights with friends. Becky and Darrik, Nathan and Andi have come and we've had some friendly competition :) And the girls have been having fun playing and cheering for Daddy as well as making popcorn in our new popcorn machine Santa gave them. I will have to take more pictures next time. Here are a few from Sunday!
