Uncle Ben

On Uncle Ben's way home from Spokane he stopped by for a quick visit! The twins and Brady got to play with him and they had lots of fun. Mommy and Daddy had a nice dinner visiting with him too. We can't wait for you to come back and see us. Maybe next time both you and Auntie Christina can come visit us and stay longer. We really enjoyed the visit.

Bee Movie

The best $20 I have spent this week! The twins are upstairs watching this movie not making one little noise :) As I was walking downstairs to put groceries away, Reagan says "Mommy, can you be quiet down there while we watch our movie?" I laughed and said "Sure, hon!" She said, "Thank you!" Funny, funny little girl!

Weekend Rundown:

Well, what started off a great weekend ended stressful. Brandon's parents called friday afternoon and said they missed the kiddos so much (you know 2 whole weeks can be rough :) that they were coming over to visit. The girls were thrilled (and Brady too) They arrived around 8:30pm and we visited and watched some TV. We went to bed, I got up about a zillion times with Brady because he was coughing and not feeling well. I decided to take him to the Urgent Care to be looked at. Claudia and the older girls came with me while the twins, Brandon and Doug went to the Tri-Cities to get wood for our fence. We waited a few minutes for the doctor and he sent Brady for a few chest x-rays and did a test to see if Brady had RSV. The test came back that he did have RSV and so he prescribed Albuterol through the nebulizer to help him breathe better. So we went back home and the girls played outside while Doug and Brandon dug some fence posts. They were unable to get all the wood on the truck so we all loaded up and drove to the Tri-Cities to get the rest. We picked up the wood, got to eat at the Olive Garden (ummm...yummy!) and Claudia, Makenna, Lexi, Brady and I went to Target (oh, and it was wonderful! I miss that place. Moses Lake needs to get a Target in quick!!!) And the guys took the twins to a workman's wearhouse store where Lorelai fell on a rusty old cart. By then I had all I could handle and we went home knowing we'd be going back to urgent care yet again! We ended up going the next morning since they were closed by the time we got back into Moses Lake. The doctor gave her one stitch and about 4-5 stickers in hopes she'd forgive him. I just took Lorelai with me but she whined for Reagan the whole time and refused to talk. When the doctor asked her a question all she'd say was "I WANT MY TWIN, NOW!" All I could do was laugh. It was just too cute!!! Anyways, today I took Brady back to the doctor. They re-ran his test again and said he doesn't have RSV and that he has pnemonia and broncitis (of course he did that after I laid the law down! I told him I wouldn't leave until he prescribed him something!). We got 2 different steroids and an antibiotic so hopefully the poor boy will get better really soon! This is the 3rd time he has had pnemonia since right after Christmas. Poor thing doesn't know what healthy is. I am so glad that I can stay home so I can take care of all my babies!

Oh and the Grandparents took the older girls home and are sharing them with my parents. I am going over there a week from wednesday. So it was nice I didn't have the older girls too so I didn't have to drag the whole crew into the tiny doctor's room! I miss them already though...however, I have a feeling I am a distant thought because they are having SO MUCH FUN with Gampa James, Gamma Judy, Uncle Jeremy (who is home on spring break) and auntie Rachel!

My sick boy :(

Lorelai's one little stitch!

FAB...U..LOUS!

Miss Lexi! She got herself dressed this morning and accessorized her outfit including the clip-on earrings (she does have pierced ears) and attached to them were two bracelets that she clipped onto the earring to make BIG HOOP earrings! Walking downstairs she says (and I quote) "I'm ready...and I look FAB..U..LOUS!" We are in TROUBLE!

Extreme Playhouses

Extreme Playhouses

Here is the link to the website where I found the $18,999 playhouse. They have some other ones too! It is truely amazing to me that they can stay in business. Who buys a playhouse that is that expensive? There must be a few spoiled kids out there who enjoy their extreme playhouse!

This is what they say on their website about the one I pictured in my last blog:

This enchanting play home is straight out of a fairy tale. The outside is picture perfect, with a wraparound porch, elegant stained glass window, window boxes full of fresh blooms, a sunny skylight, and a working doorbell and brass door knocker. Inside, the decorative details continue with a bay window with a cozy window seat, sponge-painted walls, simulated hardwood floors, fireplace mantel and an upstairs loft accessed by a ladder. The most luxurious Lilliput play home, this Victorian is truly grand indeed! And what glorious mansion would be complete without some fun accessories? Perhaps they long for the quality of the Antique Design Hoosier or, better yet, perhaps they prefer the outstanding value of our Deluxe Furnishing Package, complete with handmade kitchen stove, baby grand piano, curtains, table and chair set, rug, clothes pole, adorable tea set and much more. Talk about icing on the cake!

My Wish List for 2008

SO I am sitting here dreaming tonight :) Thought I'd share the things I am needing...okay, wanting. I know it's a lot but a girls' gotta dream, right?

Pretty flowers in a wiskey barrel for my front porch.

New cuter lights above my kitchen table and in the entry.

A BIG BOY bedroom set for Brady!

A sectional couch to replace the couch and loveseat upsatirs! I have ALWAYS LOVED sectionals, plus we actually need more places to sit upsairs with 7 people in our family! (It would have to be a different color or it might blend right into the walls)

Ladder Pot Rack (Something like this but I'd hang my pots and pans on it)

A comfy chair for my bedroom (you know another place to "hang" clothes :)

A playhouse for the girls. Something like this one but maybe something more in our price range! $18,999 is just a bit too much!

A desk with TONS of storage! This would be #1 on my list to get first. However, we might do built in cabinets to match the exisiting ones in the kitchen.
